1. Who is responsible for your data
Grupo Alimenticio del Carmen, S.A. de C.V. (hereinafter, "GAC"), with its address at 5ta Romero 38, Fracc. Santa Bárbara, C.P. 78394, San Luis Potosí, S.L.P., Mexico, is the data controller responsible for processing the personal data you provide to us through this website, by phone, by email, or by messaging.
2. What data we process
Depending on why you contact us, we process the following data:
- Quote request or contact: name, company, job title, email address, phone number, approximate number of people to be served, plant location, and the content of your message.
- Careers: name, phone number, email address, position of interest, and the work experience you choose to share.
- Browsing: technical data such as IP address, device type, and pages visited, only if you accept analytics cookies.
We do not request sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include in your messages information about your health, beliefs, union membership, or other data of that nature.
3. What we use it for
Necessary purposes, which give rise to our relationship with you and do not require additional consent:
- Responding to your request and preparing the quote or service proposal you ask for.
- Following up on the business relationship and the contracted service.
- Evaluating your profile when you apply for a position.
- Complying with applicable legal obligations.
Additional purposes, which do require your consent and which you may refuse without affecting how we handle your request:
- Sending you commercial information about our services.
- Measuring use of the website with analytics cookies in order to improve it.

4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or transfer your data. It is shared only with the providers that supply us with website hosting, email, and analytics services, acting as data processors under our instructions. Outside those cases, we will transfer your data only when a competent authority requires it in accordance with the law. These transfers do not require your consent.
5. How long we keep it
We keep quote and contact data for as long as the business relationship lasts and for the period required by applicable legal provisions. Candidate data is kept for up to twelve months so we can consider it for future openings, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
6. Your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection
You may access your data, rectify it, cancel it, or object to its processing (known in Mexico as ARCO rights), as well as withdraw your consent or limit its use or disclosure. Send your request to ventasslp@gacsagroup.com with:
- Your name and a means of sending you the response.
- A document proving your identity or that of your representative.
- A clear description of the data and of the right you wish to exercise.
- Any information that helps us locate your data.
We will respond within a maximum of twenty business days and, if the request is granted, we will carry it out within the following fifteen business days.
